Locking washers are retaining elements shaped like a cup spring. They have helical teeth on the upper and lower side. Placed under the head of the bolt or under the nut, the force is distributed over a larger area and preserves the surface of the component. Friction is optimized. By embossing the helical teeth into the mating part, a reliable form fit is achieved. Depending on the application, in addition to the preload force, the securing of the connection against automatic loosening is to be considered
