Press-in and rivet nuts are special nuts that are either pressed or riveted into a component or set with a special setting tool. They are also referred to as set nuts.

They are primarily suitable for sheet metal or thin components, profiles and hollow bodies. They are used when access is only possible from one side of the component or when the area is inaccessible.

The advantage is that these nuts are not exposed to high temperatures during welding. This means that they can also be used for painted sheet metal and post-treatment to achieve corrosion protection is no longer necessary. The shape of the nuts is similar to that of the hexagon nut, but they also have a profiled or knurled collar.

The nuts in the range are available in various sizes, hardened and tempered, made of galvanised steel with external hexagon and different heights of collar.
